Transit Plan started out with a need for a different musical outlet for Tony, Jay and Mutley from Rebelation. They started playing as a 3 piece. No name was given to the project but promoters and venues referred to them as 'The Rebelation Trio'. After one of the gigs, our good friend Steve from Vanilla Pod came up and said 'what you really need is another guitarist' and so Transit Plan was formed
